Was Ronald Reagan an Even Worse President Than George W. Bush?

It saddens and amazes me that republicans blame Obama (who has been in office less than 6 months) for problems that have been longstanding for years and started with the unemployed actor, Ronald Reagan, who was elected president in 1980.
It saddens me because the right wing's intellectual dishonesty and refusal to work within the system shows the republicans do NOT care about the country's benefit unless they are the ruling party. Rather than just disagree with policy many refuse to even acknowledge Obama's right to be president by pushing the ridiculous issue of Obama not even being a citizen.

The starting point for many of the catastrophes confronting the United States today can be traced to Reagan's presidency.

Ok, granted RR was worse than W but lots of people wouldn't acknowledge W as their President; me for example in Paris during W's term when I was quick to say, "I didn't vote for him!" But, that isn't the same as saying Bush was an "illegitimate" president. No, wait, that's what we all said, and I still believe, following the Florida debacle and the Supremes decision down party lines. SO, my point is our guy is in, their guy is out, and they're going to gripe about it in a world of ever-increasing hyperbole and "get-the-other-guy/gal-at-any-cost" including calling them every foul thing possible. Is it true all's fair in love and war? Have USA politics always been like war? Certainly lately.
